I was vacationing in Pompano Beach with my extended family when tragedy struck. My father-in-law developed brain aneurysms and just collapsed on the floor. After the initial shock of what was happening, we rushed him to Broward Health North ER. Have to thank the hotel guy for guiding us here. Once we reached the hospital and told the front desk lady what happened, she immediately got onto the job. While my wife and I were filling the details, an army of professionals descended and whisked my father-in-law away; first to the ER, then to the surgery and then to the ICU. Everything happened like a well-oiled machine. We were always being updated by the medics on his condition, and after an excruciating five hours, we were able to see him. Thanks to these angels, my father-in-law was saved. He was there for nearly three weeks, and they took excellent care of him. We cannot thank them enough. The nurses and doctors were always on the watch and ensured that nothing untoward was happening. Thank you, Broward Health North, for giving me my father-in-law back

I visited this hospital last month with my father for getting a pacemaker implanted in him. The whole process was a very smooth affair. I had worries that things might not work the way it was supposed to go. I was so nervous that I could not sign his forms. The doctor who was going to do the procedure came and talked with me and calmed me down. He was a nice gentleman and then told both of us how things would go and the benefits of getting it implemented, as well as what precautions one has to take, and the cons of the getting it installed. He had a soothing voice, and by the end of the discussion, both of us were ready for the procedure. The nurses involved in his care was fantastic. They were funny, compassionate, and caring. They were very professional and knew what had to be done. Thanks to these wonderful nurses and doctor, my father is doing great. God Bless You All.

Broward Health North, what wrong have I done to you folks that you make me suffer like this. I am supposed to get bloodwork done on a monthly basis, and the results have to be sent to my PCP for further action. But trust these people to screw up even these simple instructions. They never send the results to him and every month I have to visit this place twice – first to get the blood work done and a second time to get the results. My home is not nearby, and I have to drive nearly 30 minutes at least to come here. This is not a one-off case. This has been happening for the past five months, and I have no idea how long would it last. In fact, the lab tech and other staff members now know me by name and face. Just waiting to get this testing done and then won’t be back here ever again.

This hospital is nothing but an overpriced piece of crap. I had gone to the ER with a specific problem and also told the nursing staff that I wanted to see a doctor and not an assistant. My request was ignored, and a PA came in to see me. I told her about my problem and what I needed. She did not have the courtesy to even listen to me, forget about acting on it. Long story short, I wasted my money. Broward Health North is a joke. If you want me to spend hundreds of dollars on you, then I expect to see a doctor, not an assistant. Would not be back. It is better to visit some other hospital where they listen to you and take good care of you.

I had to rush to the ER after my son’s nosebleed refused to stop. It was 11:30 PM, and still, the staff took good care of him. The doctor was beside him in a matter of minutes. He thoroughly evaluated my son and then proceeded to provide the best treatment possible. After a stay of three hours in the ER, we were on our way. Thank you for the quick and prompt service. Will not hesitate to return if any medical need arises
