Personally, love this superb hospital! I love everyone on the medical staff, especially Dr. Hussain. He was my primary, and it was always a pleasure to see him! The exceptional care is not restricted to the emergency room. It is all pervasive. The ER was exceptional, and so was the pre-op, surgery and post-op care. Everyone took good care of me. Underwent a procedure by Dr. Gates, an orthopedic surgeon, after five years of suffering. I met him only a few months back, but he understood my problem and helped in addressing my pain! Highly recommend Dr. Gates! Besides Dr. Gates, the entire staff is sweet, compassionate, caring, and keen to address the problems of the patients. Recommend Broward Health Medical Center as well as the wonderful physicians attached to it

Had some issues with waiting for my turn in the ER. It was a long wait, made more miserable by the small waiting room, but in all fairness, there was a huge rush of patients that particular day. The waiting room was freezing and not very comfortable. But all the issues vanished once the doctor saw me. The team was amiable and provided good and thorough care. They diagnosed me with a case of bad flu and put me on IV, conducted some tests and gave appropriate care. Thanks to them, I recovered very quickly from the dreaded flu. A big shoutout to the excellent team. A big Thank You to Broward Health for employing such a great team!!!

Guys, at least keep the waiting room warm. I had to wait for three hours in a bloody freezing waiting room. Though there were really few patients in the room, I was not seen quickly. The nurses kept on making one BS excuse after others. It was an unbearable wait, and when my turn came, the doctor spent his priceless few minutes in diagnosing me with flu and gave some pills. After a three hour wait, the actual treatment lasted for a few minutes. Ridiculous

This review is not for the actual hospital experience and the wonderful staff but for the BS customer service given by the billing department.

I had undergone surgery at this hospital. I wanted to review my bill and called up the department, but got no response. Wrote to them, the same result. Finally, I was able to get through and asked for the manager who was in charge of complaints. She was the least supportive and gave a very vague answer. Not satisfied, I asked to speak to her superior. If the manager was rude, her superior was ruder. He bluntly told me that the review is not possible. When I threatened that I would write review dissing the hospital, he was pretty cool and said, “Go ahead. You are welcome. Your complaint would only be one of the several complaints that we get every time.” He just cut me off after that. Go somewhere else if you seek quality customer service.

I went to Broward Health for minor outpatient surgery that my father had to undergo. Got excellent service from the moment we landed till we walked out of the gate. Everyone, starting from a wonderful lady who greeted us to the guy who helped us with discharge exhibited exceptional service. His pre-and post-op nurses were caring and competent. Very pleased with the wonderful hospital experience that we had at Broward Health. Recommend visiting this hospital for your needs
