A few months back, I literally flew Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital Plano at 9 PM after I developed some left-sided chest pain. I was scared, and my wife and children were at her mother’s house. By the time I had finished describing the pain and symptoms, an anxiety attack happened, and it was hell. But I am lucky that I came into this hospital. The ER staff calmed me down. Once I calmed down, they took my vitals and then sent for the doctor. The doctor ordered tests for which overnight stay was necessary. I underwent the tests, and it was found that I had a blocked vessel and an angioplasty was necessary. They scheduled me for surgery, and I had a stent placed after that.

I was shifted to the floor for recuperation. I was taken care of by some wonderful nurses, and after a stay of four days, I was sent home. The hospital also ensured that they called my wife and kept her in the loop while the surgery was going on. I was awed! Would recommend this hospital for any cardiac ailments and surgery

I went to the Heart Hospital for a stent placement last week and was amazed by the hospital. The staff was very professional and made me as comfortable as possible before the surgery. The staff was friendly and cracked jokes to ease my tension. The surgery was successful and thanks to the team, I will live much longer. Recommend this hospital for cardiac surgery.

Absolutely pathetic experience. It has been made worse by the incompetence of the staff. I was scheduled for an appointment which I had sought three weeks back. Yesterday morning, I called the hospital to confirm my appointment, and they did not have any record of the same. I was shocked and tried arguing in vain with them that this appointment was necessary. While they agreed that it was a mistake on their part, they declined to accommodate me today and said the next available appointment is at month end.

Thanks to them, I have to book an appointment with another cardiac surgeon now. Shame on Baylor Scott & White Heart Hospital.
