I had outpatient surgery on 15th April 2019 at Bartow Regional Medical Center. My nurse and the tech were out of this world. They paid a lot of attention while prepping me for the procedure. Even after the procedure, the post-op nurse was great and ensured that I did not face any difficulty while getting out of the anesthesia. Great job. Thanks to everyone for treating me well

My daughter had visited the Bartow Regional Medical Center ER since she was scheduled to have surgery and then stay as an inpatient. The care that she received from the time she stepped into the ER till the time she left the hospital was outstanding. They treated her as a mature adult (she was only 19). They were thoughtful and compassionate. Glad that we have an institution like Bartow taking care of our community.

Had a horrible time at BRMC ER, especially the registration lady who acted very rude. She did not know how to behave with patients. I was involved in a six-car pileup and was driven here to rule out any internal injury. The registration lady was pathetic. She wanted me to sign a form which allowed them to charge my health insurance. I told her that I have auto insurance and wanted to use that. She was adamant that she would charge the health insurance only. When I did not relent, she had the gumption to say, “how about I say you left AMA.” Though initially taken aback, I gave her a fitting reply. “Suit yourself, b***h. Don’t want to seek care in a hospital which has a dickhead like you in its payroll. Idiots like you are playing a big part in ruining the hospital.” The look on her face when I said that was worth enjoying.

I went to St. Lakes, where they gave me prompt attention and most importantly charged my auto insurance.

Was passing by when a small accident at a restaurant left me with a broken middle finger. I was a new patient, but that did not cause any problem as I was in and out of the hospital in two hours. The staff was excellent and went above. I sincerely hope that nobody visits any ER, but if you need to visit one, then this is the one. Three cheers to Bartow Regional Medical Center
