Unfortunately, I had to visit the ER last week for a severely upset stomach and continuous puking. There was a rush when I arrived, but when I told my condition to the nurse, she took me in immediately and then back to the room in minutes. The doctor saw me and ordered IV and some tests. Tests revealed I had the severe stomach flu, and due to loss of fluids, I was severely dehydrated. I ended up getting admitted for nearly three days. The staff was professional while being caring and compassionate. They constantly checked on me and ensured that I had recovered completely before discharging me. The floor doctor was also wonderful and came to meet me while getting discharged. She also gave some valuable tips to follow in case there is a recurrence. Thank you

If you want to survive, then please do not get any surgeries done here…they will surely botch it up.

The staff is insulting and do not even have the basic courtesy to address patients. The staff is also highly incompetent. These idiots do not even know how to set up an IV or draw blood. They poked my hand so much that a giant bruise has developed there. It was very painful, and they did not even apologize. I got my surgery done at another hospital. I love life and want to live to enjoy it, and undergoing surgery at Barton Memorial might result in me not waking up from the table.

Geez…so rude and mean. I walked out of the hospital lab AMA after the nurse swore at me. She could have been polite and said there is a rush and it would take some time…I know one might have had a tough day at work, but it does not mean that you could swear on others. If you cannot handle the rush, please leave.

My mistake, I just asked the nurse if the kit kept in the front was a 24-hour urine collection kit

Barton Memorial is excellent. By excellent, I mean the staff is wonderful. Some of the nurses and doctors are out of this place, and their positive attitude does rub off on others. There could be one or two bad apples, but the doctors and the hospital administrator would surely know how to address those bad apples. Overall, my experience at this hospital has been great. Getting treated by a team of highly skilled and very professional nurses and doctors is a rarity nowadays, and Barton Memorial does provide that

I was on a trip to Tahoe when I started having breathing problems. I was rushed to Barton Memorial Hospital. The staff took me in immediately, I was seen by a doctor within a matter of seconds. The doctor checked me out, ran a quick allergy test, and then proceeded to provide me breathing treatment. A two-hour stay at Barton Memorial and I am on my way

Ended up visiting the Barton Memorial ER after a boil became inflamed and started oozing. The nurse took me in, and after a reasonable wait time, was seen in the room. A PA comes, inspects the wound and then lanced the infected part and thoroughly washed the wound. The dressing was applied, and I was on my way. Three days down the line, the wound is completely healed. Thank you, Barton Memorial for taking good care of me
