After being sick for nearly five days, which was accompanied by breathlessness, severe cough, and host of other complaints, my wife took me to Barstow Community Hospital ER. We were treated with respect at every stage of our visit. At no place did we feel that these guys were planning to rush through. The security person was great and welcomed us very professionally. The front desk and the registration people took excellent care of me. The nurses were very professional, and while addressing my issues, made sure that I was comfortable and not under any strain. I was seen by an NP very quickly and promptly admitted for treatment. I was admitted to the hospital for a few days, and by the time I was ready to go home, I felt like I was having a new lease of life. Thank you very much, Barstow Hospital

A few days back, my mother started having breathing issue and was complaining of unease. We got her to Barstow. Frankly, we were not sure about the service here after going through various reviews, but since this was the nearest ER, we had no other option. It turns out my mother did not have any stroke but was having a severe anxiety attack. The doctor and the assistant nurse were great with her and took good care of her. She was very happy with the service she got. Won’t hesitate to recommend this hospital to everyone who needs care by genuine and highly professional doctors.

My fiancé was having an asthma attack, and we rushed to Barstow Community Hospital to seek urgent care. It was a very BIG MISTAKE. We were there for nearly an hour, and despite informing them about my fiancé’s issue, he did not get any sort of breathing aid. On the contrary, they were asking us a lot of questions, a majority of which were completely unrelated. Having had enough of this drama, I called up my cousin who had a breathing apparatus at home and drove my fiancé there. The nurse treats people like another number. Absolutely zero compassion at this hospital. The staff of this hospital should hang their heads in shame. Horrible, just horrible!!!!
