I scheduled an appointment a fortnight back, got it confirmed yesterday evening and today morning, and here I am sitting for the past eight hours waiting for a dickhead to appear. The doctor was supposed to come early morning, which kept on getting delayed. Because of this dickhead, what was supposed to be a two-hour visit has become now an eight-hour wait. Would never use this hospital again. It is a waste of time.

If you have to visit this hospital make sure you take a day off because they are one of the slowest hospitals in the entire world

My brother had a flare-up of sickle cell while vacationing here. We rushed him to the ER. The staff treated him with respect and did not prejudge him. Everyone was friendly and caring. We were very stressed out and had no clue what to do. The excellent team of RNs, lab techs, and the PA helped us relax. They made sure that Josh’s pain was under control, and there were no major complications before they discharged us. The friendly staff also asked us to share some of the snaps that we might take during the vacations. They also shared names of some of the eating places that serve homely food at dirt cheap rate. Thank you very much, everyone!!

My PCP referred me to Baptist DeSoto for a suspicious lump on my right foot. I waited for nearly six hours to see a nurse, forget a registered nurse, or even a doctor before I walked out. Not planning to come back.

Not sure about other people’s grouse, but I had a wonderful hospital experience while I was at this hospital. I had a leg infection and was seen in a reasonable time. The doctor ordered tests and a scan. The staff was respectful and very nice. This was not the case with just me, but it was with others also. Won’t hesitate to come back

My wife suffered an acute GI bleed and was rushed to Baptist DeSoto ER. They immediately took over and ran several tests while treating her for the bleeding and weakness. We were there for nearly four days and were extremely impressed with the quality of care she received. It is a very nice hospital too!! I work as a hospital administrator and am pretty impressed with the way the staff handled the entire problem. Great hospital... great staff!! They saved my wife’s life!! Very grateful!!
