My visit to Baptist was incredible. An excellent doctor, Dr. Carter, saw me. He was fantastic. Dr. Carter did a very careful and thorough examination and was able to pinpoint the reasons for my frequent bouts of swelling. He also discussed various options and what are the benefits and disadvantages of following that option. Very professional. I am extremely impressed. Thank you, Dr. Carter, for everything.

The only issue I faced was the poor attitude of the main nurse. She had no respect and no regards for privacy. She just barged in when Dr. Carter was examining me and did not even apologize for the same. I hope I never see her again.

This hospital rocks. I wanted to have an appointment and did online scheduling. I went on the appointment day and was seen within quick time. Everyone whom I interacted with was personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. I never felt rushed or pushed. The appointment was over under an hour. This included tests, labs, diagnosis, prescription, as well as billing. Honestly, the best experience I have ever had.

Baptist sucks the blood out of you.

Three months back, I visited the hospital for a medical problem, which, while not being life-threatening, did need the advice of an expert. A blood test was done, and I was given all clear signal. The doctor and the nurses were nice. I went to the billing and paid my part of the co-pay and left. That I had to go to another doctor after recurrence is a completely different matter. Fast forward to May 05, 2019. I get a notification that Baptist billed my insurance $25,000+. These fellows also wanted me to pay $2500 over and above what was already part as my share. I am planning to contest this bill. I surely do not believe that the entire visit would have cost more than $4000. Absolutely absurd.
