I was here to get an MRI done and I am happy with my experience. I did not get an appointment, initially on the date I desired but when I expressed my desire to prepone it, my request was considered and when a slot was available prior to the date I had booked, they took the trouble of calling me up to check if I was free to get an MRI done on that day.

When I reached, they tried to get me in earlier for some patient did not show up on time and I feel it was very kind of them to do that instead of keeping me waiting. Everything was explained clearly to me and their pep talk gave me a lot of confidence.

I knew that there was nothing I need to fear about and once I was in, it hardly took 30 minutes for them to complete everything and send me home. Getting an MRI done is never a fun thing but if you have support like these, it becomes easier for you.

I was down with a bad flu and I came here to seek medical help. I was made to sit in the waiting room and I eagerly waited for my turn to see the doctor because my condition was not that good. I was feeling weak and I felt I would drop down dead any moment . so, I requested if I could be seen at the earliest. They said they would try but nothing of that sort happened and all I again did was wait.
4 hours had passed and I was still waiting there. I wanted to drink some water and these assholes wouldn’t even let me do that. How the hell do they expect me to survive???? I was finding it difficult to breathe and after so many hours of waiting I decided to go elsewhere.

The best decision ever made….

My father who is 90 was taken to the ER of Genesys yesterday because his old age was catching up and slowly making his kidneys fail. We knew about the situation since sometime and we also knew that nothing much could be done, given his age but when things were getting out of our hands, we had to bring him here. The doctors and nurses who we first met were fabulous and very good to my dad. I could see genuine care and concern in them.

But when my dad got admitted, two horrible nurses were assigned to him who made his life terrible. They were acting ridiculous and making my poor father feel as if he was a burden. Duhhh! You are a nurse and you are the one who is supposed to be taking complete care of my dad.

But I guess they didn’t understand the responsibilities that come along with being a nurse. I decided to get them changed but within 2 days, my dad passed away. God bless his soul and may he rest in peace. I hope I have done things to the best of my abilities to make his last moments peaceful.

But no, never a yes to this place.

I arrived to a heavily packed ER and I was shocked to see so many people waiting in the ER . I have never witness such a packed ER till now. I went in and tried to get myself a seat. I started looking around and the person sitting next to me revealed in agony that he had been there for like 10 hours and he pointed out to other people in the room and told me who have been there and precisely for how many hours.

What were the doctors and nurses doing? This is a clear case of dereliction of duty. My sole intention of writing this review is to bring this incident to light and I earnestly hope the management would do something to make things better.

My mom was at Ascension for a knee replacement surgery and it went very well for her. This was last year and she still can’t stop talking about the perfect medical care she received here. From pre op to recovery to post op, every little aspect was wonderfully taken care of.

The medical treatment was way beyond our expectations and we for sure love this hospital. I hope the other departments are equally good too so that we don’t have to run elsewhere.

The surgeon and his team have done a great job and so have the others who patiently took care of my mom every single moment. As a son, I did not feel burdened at all because everything was well taken care of.

I came here to the ER because I had a splitting headache. The place seemed pretty busy and were filled with people. When I enquired, I got to know that there were at least 20 people waiting ahead of me.

I waited for an hour and then when I did not see any scope, I walked out of the place and came back home. Someone told me that they have been waiting for 6 hours!! I couldn’t sit with that pain for 6 long hours or maybe even more. I would go mad if I did that.

I came back home, had hot chocolate with marshmallows and went off to sleep.
