Artesia General Hospital is very privileged to have in its ranks some of the best staff and surgeons that the country has seen. They are an incredible lot and have definitely made my wife’s life much more bearable. They took excellent care of Anna and ensured that she was comfortable during her stay and did not have any issues with the quality of care. A year down the line, she is much healthier and is starting to look forward to living life to the fullest again. Eternally grateful

The staff at Artesia GH is outstanding and treated me well. I am happy with the treatment given. But what has left a very bad taste in my mouth is the billing. As always, billing at Artesia like it’s counterparts in other hospitals screwed up big time. They are terrible. These buggers double billed my insurance, once under the head of the hospital and once under the head of the doctor charges. So thanks to these idiots, I ended up paying $600 for just getting my weight and blood pressure checked, and the doctor asking me to continue the meds. They also subtly warned me that my meds would be stopped if I refused to pay them. Shame on these people.

The only reason I visited the AGH was because of its staff. But after the latest episode with the billing. I think I am gonna avoid this hospital like the plague. Cannot put my health under a lot of stress just to get the figure correct...

Artesia General Hospital – a place where sick people wait for hours on end while seemingly healthy people get first preference. I waited for nearly six hours with a stiff back and fever and the person in front of me was there for nearly seven hours, but we counted at least seven people walking in and immediately being taken back to the room. After the seventh person went in, I asked the nurse how long would it take, and the reply was, “Not sure, it depends on the seriousness of the injury.” As if the people who walked in before us were on their deathbeds.

I left without being seen. I visited a nearby ER the next day and was seen almost immediately. It is crazy out there….AVOID IT.

I had a good experience at Artesia General Hospital. The staff was caring and very helpful. The facility was also spotless. The wife underwent surgery here. I was kept in the loop while the surgery was underway. Highly recommended

My daughter broke her leg while playing football and was rushed to this place. She was seen in the ER and then transferred to the ICU and the operation room where she underwent surgery. The whole experience at AGH was good. The staff treated my daughter well. They were attentive and caring. Nothing to complain about
