Arnot Ogden Medical Center has the best medical facilities in this part of the woods. Simply put, they are excellent. More impressive is the staff, both medical and support. They sure know how to provide exceptional care to their patients. Every single need of the patient is taken care of, and the customer service is way beyond expectations.

The hospital serves a very large community and is doing very well at that

My review is for a visit that I had three months back.

I had severe pain in back, a pain that was making me feel like emptying now and then, but I was not able to….so, the next option was visiting the ER. I reach the ER and am very pleased that there are very few people, and the wait time should not be more than an hour or two…Boy, was I wrong? I had to wait in the ER for nearly five hours.

Finally, when my turn came, I was taken back, and the doctor ordered a CT scan of the body…no idea why the scan of the body was necessary when I had abdominal pain…the scan is positive for a stone. He wrote some pain meds and was on his way…no referral to a nephrologist or a POA.

What was more pathetic is that I was not able to have anything during the entire stay…I am a diabetic, and thanks to them, I missed my breakfast as well as lunch. This despite me telling them I am a diabetic. The only thing they knew very well was taking vitals every hour or so…might be to check whether I am still alive.

Thanks to the wretched care in this atrocious hospital, I shifted my care to Guthrie. The doctors there provide exceptional care, something which cannot be compared to the rubbish stuff that they dish out here.

I have regularly visited this hospital and the ER due to a chronic ailment that seems to flare up at very inappropriate times. I have never faced any issues whenever I came here. The medical staff and the support staff are always polite and very friendly. Besides the beautiful people, what has endeared me to them is the speed with which tests are done, and the results are given…there is no delay whatsoever. The doctors are also notified well before the timeframe given. I love this hospital, and I would highly recommend them
