Underwent a splenectomy at this wonderful hospital. To say that I had a fantastic hospital experience would be an understatement. From the start of the diagnostic to the surgery and then recovery, these people have taken excellent care of me. Never got such wonderful care anywhere else. A top-notch hospital. Very impressed with the care I got here

Awesome staff manning a great hospital. I delivered my baby girl here. The nurses and doctors were amazing. They did not hesitate to greet us and answered every single question of ours with a smile. They went beyond my expectations in guiding us with this new chapter in life.

The Alton Memorial ER SUCKS big time. The scan clearly showed that I had stones, but the ER doctor was adamant that I did not have any stones. As if this was not enough, I was stuck with a bill of $600 because this nincompoop was subcontracted. This was more painful than the stone itself. Not willing to return in my lifetime.

My father was discharged while he was still in recovery. He was in severe discomfort and had to struggle a lot. We had to take him to another hospital, where they took excellent care of him. Despite giving shoddy care, Alton Memorial ensured that we got a hefty bill and we ended up paying it! Never again!!!!!

I had rush to this hospital after my son collapsed while playing. The EMT was exceptional and ensured that we did not lose hope. When we reached the hospital, the ER team was also swift. They took over the care of Pat and before soon, he was being wheeled in for scans and then an emergency surgery. Thanks to these angels, Pat is now doing great and completely recovered from his ailment.

The staff is very caring and professional. They know how to handle cranky patients. They did not lose hope with my teen son and ensured that he got proper care, which he required. Thank you...

The ER nurses and doctor were very rude to me. They did not like me asking them questions concerning diagnosis and the care which was being provided. They discharged me with just OTC meds for indigestion even when I said I had pain in my stomach. A scan elsewhere showed a kidney stone. So much for indigestion!!!!
