My daughter went to this dump at 10:30 am and didn't return home till 5:00 pm. She had gone due to tightness in her chest and guess what the diagnosis was - sciatica …I think the doctor was off the mark by maybe a few inches. This is not the first. We have faced misdiagnosis here earlier also. I had gone to the ER once with severe achiness in my leg, and the doctor said that it was due to excessive running…I have never run in my life. I went to another hospital where it was found that there was reduced blood flow to my leg.

Do not know why the hospital wants to the employee such as idiots in their ranks. With the latest incident, I have given strict instructions to my family to avoid this hospital like the plague. I do not want my family members to die due to misdiagnosis. It is high time that the hospital is shuttered.

I had a very quick ER visit. I had got a few bruises and scrapes and two deep gashes after a nasty fall. I went in and got the best possible care that I can get. I got eight stitches and was on my way after an hour-and-a-half. Very happy with the excellent treatment that I got. Thank you!!!

I ended up in the ER three nights back with splitting headache, which was increasing as time passed by. The nurse took me in quickly and then back to the room. The doctor was beside me in a matter of seconds. He was a thorough gentleman and discussed all the possibilities and then gave me a sumatriptan injection. It worked wonders. He also gave me some pills to tide over before I could get an appointment with the GP. Thrilled with the way the staff treated me. Would be back for any medical needs

I have seen many negative reviews on different forums which have said this hospital is bad and should be shuttered. But my question to all the naysayers is very simple…tell me one hospital where you have not faced any issues. Yes, I agree that Abbeville does have its issues, but it has been providing good service to the community. There are a few bad apples, and the effort should be naming and shaming them and getting them out of the medical field. If that is done, then I think a majority of the problems that this wonderful hospital faces would be solved. I love this hospital. It has always treated me well, and I won’t hesitate to return if the need arises
